Fund Raising

In Spring 2019 Haris Hussain was diagnosed with Leukaemia. This diagnosis paused a promising cricket career. In July, we all received the wonderful news that Haris had found a donor, and following a successful transplant, it was hoped that he would make a full recovery.

Unfortunately this was not to be as around 6 months later this horrible disease stuck again. For his 19th birthday, instead of asking for presents and gifts, Haris turned his efforts to raising money for DKMS-UK.

And in excess of £20,000 was the results of his bloody minded strength. It was a remarkable achievement, but was not surprising given the strength of the man.
